Our connection to the natural world often begins with the affinity we have with other living things. Exposure to wildlife is, in many cases, a starting point for a person's lifelong interest in conservation.

We choose to focus on wildlife as the primary avenue to ultimately create an environmentally literate constituency for natural resource conservation and environmental ethics.

Some of our Goals

Establish a full-service nature center withing the boundaries of Otsego County to provide permanent program opportunities accessible to the general public in addition to our offsite audiences.

Build a network of volunteers for wildlife rehabilitation in Otsego County with professional facility for rehabilitation at the nature center we hope to create.

Create systemic change in the field of environmental education in regards to the value of human resources, bringing salaries of environmental education professionals more in line with real life.
