Otsego County Fair Recycling

10 students from 3 schools in Otsego County helped the Otsego County Fair recycle more than 2300 pounds of cardboard, plastic, metal and glass. Thanks go out to the students, the Otsego County Fair Board, Otsego County Department of Solid Waste & Recycling and the vendors/exhibitors and fair attendees for the continuted success of the project.

Peregrine Falcon in Hartwick! WLC took possession of a permanently injured peregrine falcon this fall for use in education programs! The bird, an endangered species in NY State, has a permanent wing injury and is unable to fly. He was sent to us from the American Eagle Foundation in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
